September 18,2025#A police code of ethics is a framework of core values and standards that guides police officers in their professional conduct, ensuring they act with integrity, fairness, and respect to serve the public effectively and safely. It helps officers make difficult decisions by promoting the right actions for the right reasons, often emphasizing principles like courage, honesty, respect, and public service to maintain trust and accountability within their communities and with their colleagues. Setting Standards: Establishes expected standards of behavior and professional conduct for everyone in policing. Public Trust: Fosters public trust and confidence by outlining what the public can expect from the police. ( I don't trust any police that didn't prove there innocence like I had to do in November 2019 in state of California and Washington dc supreme Court and mevcs overseas).Accountability: Holds officers accountable for their actions and encourages them to take ownership, learn from mistakes, and be transparent about their rationale. Integrity: Being honest and fair in all dealings. Courage: Demonstrating integrity and transparency, and having the bravery to do the right thing even when difficult. Respect: Showing respect for all people, their beliefs, values, cultures, and individual needs. Public Service: Acting in the best interests of the public and working to keep people safe. Fairness: Treating everyone with impartiality and promoting positive well-being. Professional Guidance: The code serves as guidance for officers, helping them to understand and apply ethical principles in their daily work. Culture of Ethics: It supports the development of a professional environment where officers feel empowered to challenge unethical behavior or poor service provision from colleagues, regardless of rank. Continuous Improvement: By providing clear expectations, the code helps to ensure that policing services are delivered effectively, fairly, and with public safety as a priority. ( and not fausly arresting real victims). What is a breach of the code of ethics?Potential breaches of the Code of Ethics and Conduct may include but are not limited to: Professional misconduct. Not upholding the reputation of the profession. Not acting ethically, honestly and with integrity in the educational setting.

Cool and chop the meat into very small, fine cubes.Combine Ingredients: In a large pot, combine the chopped beef, suet, apples, raisins, currants, candied peel, cider, vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, and spices.Simmer: Cook the mixture over low heat for about 1 to 2 hours, stirring often until the apples are tender and the liquid thickens.Add Alcohol: Remove from the heat and stir in the brandy or sherry. Let the mixture cool. (Note: Traditional mincemeat develops a richer flavor if covered and stored in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks before baking) Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).Line the Pan: Roll out half of the pastry dough and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate.Add Filling: Pour the prepared mincemeat filling into the pastry-lined pie plate.Top Crust: Roll out the second piece of pastry and place it over the filling. OLD FASHIONED TURKEY RECIPE AND TURKEY RUB SPICE

Roast an old-fashioned turkey by covering the breast with thin slices of salt pork or bacon to keep the meat moist, roasting it at a moderate temperature, and browning the skin at the end. Ingredients1 whole turkey (12 to 14 pounds), neck and giblets reservedKosher salt and freshly ground black pepper1/4 pound salt pork, rind removed and cut into thin slices (or thick-cut bacon)1 large onion, quartered2 stalks celery, choppedFresh herbs (sage, thyme, and rosemary sprigs)Kitchen twine InstructionsPrep the Oven and Bird: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Clean the turkey, remove the giblets, and pat the dry interior and exterior thoroughly with paper towels. Season the cavity generously with salt and pepper, then stuff with the onion, celery, and fresh herb sprigs.Truss and Lard: Tie the turkey legs together with kitchen twine and tuck the wing tips underneath the body. Lay the thin slices of salt pork or bacon directly over the entire turkey breast. This traditional "larding" technique melts rich fat slowly over the white meat to prevent it from drying out.Roast Low and Slow: Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan, breast-side down (or breast-side up if you prefer traditional modern browning). Roast at 325°F for roughly 2 to 2.5 hours, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast reaches about 130°F (54°C).Crisp the Skin: Remove the pan from the oven and increase the temperature to 450°F (230°C). Carefully lift off and discard the salt pork slices. If the bird was breast-side down, gently flip it breast-side up. Return to the hot oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until the skin is deep golden brown and crisp, and a thermometer reads 160°F (71°C) in the breast and 175°F (79°C) in the thigh.Rest and Carve: Transfer the roasted turkey to a large cutting board and let it rest uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes before carving so the juices settle. Use the leftover pan drippings to whip up a classic homemade giblet gravy (i use cooking bags ,it makes the turkey more juicey and moist and you dont have to bast it all the time, buy a turkey cooking bag at the grocery store and you put 4 tablespoons of cooking oil in it and about a half cup of flour and you hold the opening close and shake the bag to put the oil and flour all over the inside of the cooking bag, and then you place the turkey in the bag and i use 4 butter cubes and i always use real butter and i place that in the cavity of the turkey add water about 4 cups of water in the bag maybe a little more and i always buy turkey rup spices to put on top of the turkey but before that i put oil on top of the turkey in the turkey bag all over the turkey then turkey rub spices them i close the bag and pock 4 holes in the top and put in the oven. now this actually cooks the turkey a little faster . Savory Turkey Rub IngredientsMix these individual McCormick spices together to create the classic blend:2 tbsp McCormick Poultry Seasoning (or Rubbed Sage)1 tbsp McCormick Paprika1 tbsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt2 tsp McCormick Garlic Powder1 tsp McCormick Ground Black Pepper3/4 tsp McCormick Ground Nutmeg Alternative Pre-Made BlendsIf you prefer a ready-made single jar rather than mixing spices, you can use:McCormick Poultry Seasoning (a traditional blend of thyme, sage, and other spices)McCormick Grill Mates Sweet & Smoky Rub (often used for grilling or smoking poultry)

OLD FASHIONED PLUM JELLY RECIPE JUST LIKE MY GRANDMA- ANNIE MAE DUCKWORTH-SIMON ALWAYS MADE ME .

Old-fashioned plum jam requires just fresh plums and sugar, relying on the natural pectin in the fruit skins to thicken into a rich, glossy spread 4 pounds fresh ripe plums (washed, pitted, and quartered; leave the skins on for natural flavor and setting power)3 to 4 cups granulated sugar (use less if your plums are naturally sweet, or up to 5 cups if they are tart)1 tablespoon fresh lemon juiceOptional: 1/2 cup water (to help start the juice-release if your plums are firm) Combine the quartered plums and sugar in a large bowl or pot. Stir well, cover, and let sit at room temperature for several hours or overnight so the natural juices release. Simmer down: Transfer the mixture to a wide, heavy-bottomed pot. Add the lemon juice and water (if using). Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently to dissolve any remaining sugar and prevent scorching Mash and cook: Cook the mixture down for about 15 to 30 minutes, using a spoon or potato masher to break the softened plums down to your preferred texture Test the set: Place a small plate in the freezer beforehand. Spoon a tiny drop of hot jam onto the cold plate and let it rest for 2 minutes. Nudge it with your finger; if it wrinkles and doesn't run like liquid, it is ready Jar it: Ladle the hot jam into clean, dry jars, wipe the rims clean, and seal tightly. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes if you want it shelf-stable for up to a year, or simply let it cool and store it in the refrigerator
